Tóth Ferenc Egri Csillag Superior 2023

The white counterpart of the Egri Bikavér, a Superior quality blend from Eger. The aim of the winery was to produce an elegant, serious, substantial wine with a long ageing potential. It faithfully reflects the face of the Eger wine region, the cool climate, beautiful ripeness and refreshing acidity in a deep, layered wine. The four grape varieties have been processed and fermented separately, with the final blend created after ageing.

Egri Csillag white blend is the counterpart of the traditional red blend called ‘Egri Bikavér’ of the wine region since 2010. The blend must contain at least 4 grape varieties and at least 50% must be native to the Carpathian Basin. According to the regulations, it is a dry wine that can be produced in three different categories: classic, superior and grand superior.
