Hárslevelű is an old indigenous grape variety of Tokaj-Hegyalja. It is the second most important grape variety of the region. It generally has an elegant, flowery bouquet with a hint of linden honey. Hárslevelű has a well-balanced body with good minerality and fruity notes. This wine comes from the Imperial Estate of Tokaj-Hétszőlő, which originated from the Hétszőlő single vineyard in 1502, when 7 plots of loess soil were joined together.
“We believe that by using organic methods we can protect the vitality of the vines and thus have better quality now and in the future. In order to communicate this philosophy, we use only our own grapes to make Hétszőlő wines. (Gergely Makai, Technical Director)
